Mission Statement

The WWIA (Wounded Warriors in Action) provides world-class outdoor sporting opportunities to our nation's wounded veterans in order to assist their healing process, welcome them home and repay a debt of gratitude for the great sacrifices they have made.

Situation

The country has been at war for over 5 years.
As of 01 Sep 08, the combined number of wounded warriors from OPERATION IRAQI FREEDOM and OPERATION ENDURING FREEDOM was 32,897. See U.S. Casualty Report
These men and women are our nation’s most treasured asset.
Americans want to help, most are unsure how.
Hunting and fishing provide excellent niche opportunities to assist our wounded veterans in recovering – mentally, physically and spiritually from their war experiences.
